Congratulations to the Storm for this important road win, with special note to the newcomers, Ryan Skinner and Josh Rasmussen for their immediate contribution.
With 2 key veterans in sick bay, it sounds like the team rallied to really put it together.
Sicamous really put it to the Storm in Kamloops in their first meeting of the year so it was nice to see that they got some revenge.

It's a long season and we will see if they can repeat again this weekend when Sicamous visits Kamloops for the second time this year.

Hope the vets get better and the team stays healthy.

  2. ...as per the comment above... congratulations to Skinner for getting his first goal. His effort and resulting performance has been a huge contribution to the team since early in the season. He is one of the most improved players.

In general, the young guys have been playing very well and they have raised their game substantially to compete in this league.

Also, Coach Hawgood is doing a great job in getting the whole team to buy into his system. They are responding well and are now starting to mold into the team that they need to be to compete in the Keystone Cup.

Rasmussen can only be an affliate since he is only 16 years old. Kijhl teams can only carry 2 -16 year old players on their roster.
