Last night in Armstrong the Kamloops Storm skated to a 7-5 win over the North Okanogan Knights.After 1 period of play the score was 3-1 for Kamloops on goals by Taylor Stuart assisted by Justin Fulton,the Knights would tie the score at 1 before Bevin Ollik would restore the lead for the storm assisted by Jason Alessio,newcomer Tatylor Leibel would round out the scoring in the first period assisted by Dylan Becker.Newcomer Jordan Suzuki would score 1:27 into the second period on the power play for the Storm assisted by Taylor Stuart,the Knights would respond to make the score 4-2 4 and a half minutes into the second period before the Storm would take control in the 2nd period period,Jason Alessio would score to make it 5-2 for the Storm assisted by Bevin Ollek than with 2 and a half minutes left in the 2nd period Brady Fuller would score to make it 6-2 for the Storm assisted by Brett Defrias and Justin Fulton and Chase Edwards would score to make it 7-2 for the Storm with 1:52 remaining in the 2nd period.After 2 periods the score was 7-2 for the Storm.Despite having a short bench the Storm worked hard all game long.The 3 newcomers were really exciting to watch.
